Kathleen C. Chen, Esquire

Kathleen C. Chen focuses her practice on healthcare provider representation and litigation. Prior to joining Schutjer Bogar, she served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel in New York City, where she gained extensive courtroom experience; she has represented the City and various agencies and individuals in hundreds of oral arguments, court conferences, depositions, and settlement negotiations and tried several jury trials.

Ms. Chen is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania (B.A. 2002, M.G.A. 2002) and Temple University, James Beasley School of Law (J.D. 2006). While at law school, she served as Executive Editor of the Temple Political and Civil Rights Law Review and as Director of Outside Competitions of the Temple Moot Court Honor Society. She is the author of Pennsylvania's Counterterrorism Planning, Preparedness and Response Act: Better Prevention from Better Preparation, published in the Temple Political and Civil Rights Law Review. She is currently licensed in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
