Kelly K. Hayes, Esquire

Kelly Hayes joined Schutjer Bogar LLC as an associate in 2008. Ms. Hayes handles Medicaid Eligibility & Reimbursement matters and manages the firm's Virginia office.

Prior to joining Schutjer Bogar LLC, Ms. Hayes practiced civil litigation at a large, international law firm in Washington, D.C. and worked at a small, boutique firm in Alexandria, Virginia, which specialized in employee benefits and health care law. She has represented individuals appealing denials of health insurance coverage, short- and long-term disability claims, and Social Security disability insurance and Supplemental Security Income applications.

Ms. Hayes is a graduate of Georgetown University and is actively involved with the Georgetown Club of Metropolitan Washington, D.C., the Georgetown Alumni Admissions Program, and the Hoya Hoop Club. Ms. Hayes received her Juris Doctorate from The George Washington University Law School, where she participated in the Public Justice Advocacy Clinic, clerked at the U.S. Department of Justice, and was recognized in Who’s Who Among American Law Students. Ms. Hayes is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia, the District of Columbia, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
