Nicole M. Kerns, Esquire

Prior to joining Schutjer Bogar, LLC, Ms. Kerns worked for a boutique law firm in Boca Raton, Florida, concentrating her practice in the areas of Elder Law, Estate Planning, Probate, and Guardianships.  She has assisted many individuals with Elder Law issues such as planning for the possibility of incapacity, disability and long-term care.  She has represented personal representatives during the probate administration process by identifying and gathering the decedent's assets, paying taxes, claims and expenses and distributing assets to the beneficiaries.  At Schutjer Bogar, Ms. Kerns' practice areas will include Medicaid eligibility, litigation, and estates.

In 1998, Ms. Kerns graduated, cum laude, from West Chester University, where she received her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Literature. She attended law school at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida and received her Juris Doctor in 2005. Ms. Kerns is currently licensed to practice in the state courts of Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Kentucky and Florida. She is also admitted to practice in the Federal courts for the Southern District of West Virginia.
