Elizabeth R. Spawn, Esquire

Elizabeth Spawn joined Schutjer Bogar LLC as an associate in 2008. Ms. Spawn’s practice areas are Medicaid Eligibility and Collections for the firm’s Maryland clients.

Ms. Spawn is a Minnesota native, who graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Cloud State University in 2000 with a B.S. in marketing. She obtained her J.D. from the University of Minnesota in 2003. During law school, she participated in Environmental Moot Court, a Bankruptcy Clinic, and worked as a law clerk for intellectual property and telecommunication firms. She subsequently completed a Judicial Clerkship for the Honorable James B. Dudley and the Honorable Raymond Kane, Jr. in the Circuit Court of Maryland for Howard County. Prior to her employment with Schutjer Bogar LLC, Ms. Spawn was a litigation associate practicing civil, commercial and construction litigation, and workers’ compensation defense throughout Maryland and Washington, D.C.

Ms. Spawn has been admitted to practice law in Maryland since December 2003, and in the District of Columbia since March 2006. Ms. Spawn is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and the District of Columbia Bar Association. She currently lives in Washington, D.C.
